Tereza Auzká is a postgraduate student at the Charles University in Prague. Her research focuses on memory, identity and minority politics in Slovakia and Hungary. Currently, she is also involved in the CENTRAL-Kolleg, within which she is working on the topic "Bien Mantaakn: The German minority in the eastern Slovak town of Medzev and manifestation of its identity on local cemeteries." Her bachelor’s thesis on Hungarian-Italian cooperation in the years 1922 – 1940 was awarded the Karel Engliš Award for the best graduate of social sciences programs at Charles University. She received scholarships at the Leibniz-Institute for East and Southeast European Studies (IOS) in Regensburg and Corvinus University of Budapest.
