PRIMUS Colloquium 2: "Don't write a disseratation, write a book"
PRIMUS BOHEMS in cooperation with the CUNI Institute for the Study of Strategic Regions (WG: Research of Collective Memory in European Semi-Peripheries) held a seminar "Representing History: Don’t Write a Dissertation, Write a Book" lead by a distinguished American professor David K. Dunaway. At first, prof. Dunaway spoke about memory and methodology of oral history interviews. In the second half of the seminar, he shared with participants his experience with academic career at US universities and valuable recommendations regarding publishing in peer reviewed journals.
